BAY CHORAL GUILD
announces its
41st SEASON
and
Sanford Dole's 20th Season as BCG’s Artistic Director
2019-2020
DISCOVERY AND REDISCOVERY:
Choral Music by Women Composers
November 22-24, 2019
Our season opens with a program of very diverse and beautiful choral works
by women composers throughout history and from around the world.
ELIJAH
March 6-8, 2020
Mendelssohn's powerful oratorio Elijah is a masterpiece of the Romantic period
inspired by the passions and oratorios of Bach and Handel. Choristers and attendees
of our 1986 and 1999 performances of Elijah still cite them as among our most memorable
concerts, and those who attend this 2020 performance will be similarly rewarded.

The concluding concert of Sanford Dole's 20th season as Bay Choral Guild Artistic
Director features a selection of his sacred and secular choral compositions, including
the world premiere of a work composed for this occasion.
[This concert, originally scheduled for June 5-7, 2020, has been postponed due to the pandemic.]
