Our 40th season begins with the triumphant sound of trumpets, strings, and soloists in joyful works celebrating victory on a grand scale. Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass coincided with Admiral Nelson’s victory over Napoleon in 1798. Handel’s Dettingen Te Deum celebrates England’s victory over France in 1743. Both pieces feature Jubilate Orchestra with vocal soloists Angela Arnold, Jacque Wilson, James Hogan, and Nikolas Nackley.
